Who is Chris Brown?

Chris Brown is a Berklee College of Music trained bassist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and educator based in Washington DC. He is a patient and effective teacher who has worked with all ages teaching students with a variety of learning styles and disabilities.
With 20+ years of live performance, recording, arranging and composing for all genres Chris has experience teaching both at Levine Music in DC and The Academy of Contemporary Music in the UK and authoring music education books. As well as performing with many well known musicians; Ron Holloway (Allman Bros., Dizzy Gillespie, Gil Scott Heron), BJ Cole (Sting, Bjork, Dire Straits), Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), A O'Neal (Beyonce at Coachella) and countless others. With credits on over 40 albums, many as a producer.
In addition he has worked with world class educators, instructing and coaching them in using Music Technology in their teaching and professional musical careers. Chris has a fully comprehensive understanding of music and the instruments he teaches and has helped students enter Berklee College of Music, Academy of Contemporary Music (UK), Leeds College of Music (UK).
Chris specialises in improving beginners and helping them gain confidence through to performance and exam level. Whatever your ultimate goal is Chris will help you (or your child) get more enjoyment from your instrument.
